Lumensol employ a specialist consulting team that have a wealth of experience in operational leadership and management, working for Client organisations, DLOs and consultants.
Our team have experience of leading large organisations and teams and managing DLOs in a social housing context.
Its functional specialists have extensive experience in leading high performing teams in businesses operating in the social housing sector, within all areas including procurement, finance, commercial, supply chain management, asset compliance, data analytics and performance management.
Meet our Exec
Mat Bishop - Chief Executive Officer
After years of working alongside David Siddals across various organisations, Mathew & David established Lumensol in 2018.
Mathew has over 20 years’ experience within construction, performing leadership and commercial roles to ensure profitability and compliance, whilst providing clients value for money services. Mathew shares his experience not only with our clients but by sitting on the Paradigm Housing Association’s board as a non-executive director.
Outside of the office Mathew spends a lot of time living vicariously through his two son’s sporting achievements. Not keen to sit on the side-lines Mathew is a coach for the local cricket team and takes a hands-on role as a Governor at his children’s school. Taking time for himself he’s an eager golfer, if only he could spare a bit more time to improve his handicap.
David Siddals – Chief Operating Officer
After years of working alongside Mathew Bishop across various organisations, David & Mathew established Lumensol in 2018.
David has almost 30 years’ experience leading outsourced service delivery in construction and maintenance at executive level. David’s knowledge and experience, together with his excellent stakeholder engagement and leadership skills develop and deliver cost effective service solutions, as well as transformational change.
David is a proud husband and a father to 4 children, who are unfortunately in the main now fleeing the nest! When out of the office David spends time with his family and when time allows enjoys clay pigeon shooting, scuba diving and occasionally cycling. David and his family are keen travellers and he and his wife can often be seen heading off in their motorhome for a weekend break.
Arran Collins – Director of Commercial & BI Services
Arran joined the Lumensol team in October 2019, he has in depth knowledge of JCT, NEC, TPC, and PPC forms of contract, with more than 10 years’ experience of reviewing contracts, identifying and understanding commercial risk and opportunity, as well as winning work. He manages tender processes, commercial and contract handover, as well as ongoing negotiations with subcontractors and contract compliance.
A proud Husband and Father, Arran enjoys spending his spare time with family and friends, occasionally getting in a game of golf, as well as spending time in the garden. Not forgetting the family dog Archie, he enjoys taking him for long walks and reading a variety of material both fiction and non-fiction to self-tuition books, its also rare you’ll find him in the car without listening to an audio book. Anytime left over will find Arran watching great films and going to the cinema.
Kelly Kerr - Director of Procurement Services
Kelly, a qualified accountant, joined the Lumensol team in October 2022. Kelly started her housing sector career working on the client side with Origin Housing managing all commercial elements for the property services team before spending the last 9 years as Commercial Director delivering procurement consultancy.
Kelly and her husband are proud parents to their daughter and two German Shepherds, Zeus and Kya. When not working Kelly can be found in the kitchen baking with her daughter or being dragged around the fields by her dogs, only on occasion face down! Kelly and her husband are both motorbike enthusiasts but definitely don’t get out on their own bikes as much as they’d like these days.
Martin Baker - Director of Operations and Transformation Services
Martin has over 25 years’ experience delivering change and efficiency programmes in the housing, construction and FM sectors; with 15 years in senior leadership roles.
Based in East Devon on the Jurassic Coast with his wife and two children, Martin is a keen sea swimmer but can also often be found chasing his Springer Spaniel Betty around Woodbury Common. In any other free time Martin enjoys reading, currently focusing on Rome, Gladiators and all the really manly things Roman Soldiers got up to in between the big fights they used to have, as well as cooking and socialising with friends.
Michael Durrant - Director of Asset Management Services
Michael joined the Lumensol team in January 2023, he has over 17 years experience in the maintenance and asset space. Starting as an Engineer in the utilities sector, Michael has worked for both contractors and clients at Senior Management level across the utilities, MOD, energy and largely housing sectors. Michael has previously lead all Asset Management related services at a Director level, undertaking various lean systems reviews and transformational projects in this area. His passion is to drive change through strategic asset management and sustainability which is vital to the net carbon zero agendas.
Michael is a proud father to 2 girls. Michael enjoys cooking various cuisines for the family and long walks in the Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire countryside. He too is on the journey trying to play golf when time allows
Vicky Fordham-Lewis - Director of Operations, Transformation Services
Vicky joined the Lumensol team in April 2024, she has over 25 years of experience in the construction and property services sectors, specialising in operational improvements and change management.
Vicky is a qualified arbitrator, with a degree in law, her career started in residential housebuilding, working for large scale housebuilding contractors. She then moved into the social housing sector, working for national providers, as a Managing Director. Over the course of her career, she has created unique, customer-focused delivery vehicles for the provision of services, led on business sales, mergers and integration, and delivered multiple transformational change projects across a variety of disciplines.
Based in the home counties, with her wife and daughter,Vicky enjoys walking in the Chiltern Hills, gardening, visiting historical buildings and spending time with her extended family.
